Did anyone watching the AFC payoff game catch Dierdorff comments?

Dierdorff was praising Manning for being patient and wait for the short, dump off passes during games.

But when Brees was doing the same thing breaking Marino's record, the sports writers made sure to point out that most of Brees' passes were short dump offs that the RBs & WRs were able to get YACs and build his total.

Dierdorff was terrible during that game. I think maybe he was drunk.

Of course, that game was so excruciating with all the penalties that I could hardly blame him. I know I had myself a few.

Manning looked old in the second half of that game.
