lol...

I know some will be concerned. But I think we will be okay at corner this season. I'm wondering now if the best thing to do is draft Vaccaro to upgrade the strong safety position. Again, I'll keep saying... we need to create more turnovers. Like in 09, it makes us a much better team when we are turning over our opponent and getting the ball into Brees's hands.

More worried about the front 7 myself. Spend that money on a LT or DL.

Get something more than a Jr. High pass rush and our secondary will do just fine.

Glad that the waiting is over I saw him as good fit. Niners busting it up in offseason and have Picks to be movers and shakers in the draft. They got Colt McCoy, thought he would've been a good back up

49ers gonna be tough to handle.

Good job, Nnamdi. Go to a team where you aren't even guaranteed to start. Have fun

Corey White is a big enough corner to play opposite Kennan Lewis. Greer in the slot. Forget you Nnamdi!

Good. Maybe now hopefully they resign Mack!

I can't wait for us to beat the 49rs this year and ruin there season. Then Nnamdi can think to himself that he picked the wrong team.

I agree but more than anything I think the 49ers added more more depth with Nnamdi... they still have Brown, Culliver & Rodgers at cornerback. No guarantees he will be a world beater which many believe he still is.

Let the Niners have him.. good luck covering Fitzgerald & Andre Johnson twice a year.

Finally we can out this dude who's last name I can't spell to bed!

Some of you are really intimidated by the 49ers aren't you?

They beat the worst defense in the entire league by 10 points lol. And Drew have them the ball TWICE.

The 49ers were not as good last year as they were in 2011, the rest of the league was just turrable.

Evidence of how bad the league was in 2011
Falcons 13-3

Dude is too old for us anyway. If we can get some pressure on the Q.B. we will be a lot better. Greer is getting up there in age too though.

No.. We don't want to delete posts but these is not much left to say and this one can drop off the front page, or be moved to the NFL area.

He has more of a guarantee of getting to the SB than he would have with us at this point in time.

Re: Nnamdi Asomugha (All in one)

Very sad that Nnamdi didn't sign with us. I think Rob Ryan could have used his skills to their fullest extent. Having said that, SF is very good at getting the maximum production out of aging stars (except for Brandon Jacobs - LOL). In any case, Keenan Lewis could actually be the next Nnamdi Asomugha - one can only hope.

Asomugha is joining the 49ers.

He chose the 9ers over us. What do you think our focus should be now in the draft? I'm digging both Mingo and Vaccarro.

Re: Nnamdi Asomugha (All in one)

he knew all along he was going west, he didn't want to perturb payton by not thinking about joining the world champs of 09 and 2013, to me he saved us 7 million bad spent money. this guy had no attitude rob ryan was going to have to baby his arse back into being a top DB, so no attitude can go meet all attitude and suck it.

Im digging not mentioning Nnamdi anymore until one of our WRs is striding past his monkey ass on the way to the endzone.....

I think this thread should be merged with the other one million posts about the same subject. Which would make it what? page 68?

Re: Nnamdi Asomugha (All in one)

I can't lie; I'm disappointed that he chose the 49ers over the Saints, but it's not the end of the world.

I do think he would've been a nice additional injection of talent into the secondary and would've probably been a starter if he still had some of that Pro Bowl Raider left in him.

Oh, well...

Re: Nnamdi Asomugha (All in one)

Holy hell! This thread should be locked and burned into oblivion. He signed with San Fran. We will see him when Drew throws a long ball to Colston for a 50 yard TD. Goodnight Asamo Yumogora or whatever his name is.
