How would you rank the commisioners?

Out of the 3 big sport commissioners how would you rank them.

They have all had their shining performances and there terrible mismanagement of their respective leagues. I am just curious.

How would you rank Goodell (who has a superior product for Americans) amongst Selig and Stern?

I got
Stern, Selig, Rog

I cannot think of a single "shining performance" by Goodell, unless you are referring to his ridiculously red face under the lights. He has gotten lucky a couple of times, with things he either inherited from his predecessor or has no control over, but even with those he STILL finds ways to screw them up. So I rank them Stern, then Selig and then Roger Goodell basically gets a zero or goose egg. Seriously.

Honestly, all the major sports commissioners are pretty bad, with Goodell unquestionably the worst.

I never thought I'd miss Tagliabue so much ...

I'm in no way shape or form defending Roger, I say again, I'm not defending any of his actions, but, I admit he is having to face some harsh realities that Tag never had to face. The game would not survive unless something was done in a short amount of time. In a different era, I think Roger would have been fine.

Power ranking the Commissioners? Alright! (and I'm willing to overlook the minor faux pas of not including the NHL Commissioner ... we're a fringe sport that appeals to a small segment ... we know. But we do have a B&G Hockey Group for those who are interested,)

1) MLB - Bud Selig. It wasn't always that way, I was really learning not to like this guy during the '90s ... I mean, come on, how do you cancel a World Series? Only sport not to have a lockout in recent past, that I can think of. It's not that he's does such a great job, it's just the competition is weak.

2) NBA - David Stern. Again, he gets the knod at #2 mostly because he's lucky enough to have a few cohorts with their heads up their asses in the other major sports. Salaries are out of control, the players have attitudes, but the product is the best in the world in it's category, eh?

3) NFL - Roger Goodell. Yeah, he's a boob, but he did avoid a lockout at the last minute. Totally screwed up Bountygate, but hasn't enacted some of the proposed changes that would move him down to #4 ... yet.

4) NHL - Gary 'f-ing' Bettman. How many times have you locked the players out, Gary? Is it 4 now? How many times are you gonna' put a franchise in Atlanta before you realize it's not gonna' work? For crissake, amatuer youth hockey leagues are run with more efficiency,.
