It is a Joe for a few reasons... Haircut (will be blonde), Baltimore is where Unitas Played, Baltimore is where Flacco is located, and one could assume it will be filmed in Baltimore.

Revel in the fact they choose a real QB and not Tom Cruise in 18" spikes.

It's similar to how they cast members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines as Vietnam soldiers in all the Chuck Norris films. They're not necessarily looking to make a comparison, just someone who knows how to move/act like an NFL quarterback. Now, I could see the problem if they had cast Matty 'Ice', :lol:.

Playing in Baltimore and just winning a SuperBowl had to be a plus, though.

When you look at team activities etc... it makes sense to use the QB in the filming city.

Unless that QB is the wrong color. Nothing racist intended. it wouldn't make sense for Schaub to play Warren Moon in a movie either.
