NFL will release full 2013 schedule on Thursday night

It got pushed back a couple days, but the NFL is ready to unveil its 2013 schedule.

The league will formally unveil the regular-season schedule on Thursday at 8 p.m. Eastern. The schedule release had been tentatively expected to happen on Tuesday night, but the league confirmed on Monday that it was delaying the announcement.

We already know — and have known since the end of the 2012 regular season — every team’s home and away opponents, but the league puts a lot of work into the schedule, considering everything from putting marquee teams in prime time, to avoiding long road trips on short weeks, to keeping the Florida teams out of the sun on early afternoons in September, to avoiding conflicts with Jewish holidays for the New York teams.

Now all that work is finally done, and the NFL can unveil the schedule on Thursday night.

If they give us the Falcons on a short week again, or give them us after a long week, or have them playing us coming off a bye for them, I swear I am gonna open a window and scream. Then we will know it is really truly rigged.

Saints
Packers
Giants
Ravens

Last four SB winners went to Philly to open Eagle home season.

Chargers open in Philly.

Is this a sick twist of fate?

I actually believe the chargers will turn it around and get a wild card and if they draw Houston, Pittsburgh, and Denver two of them in first two rounds, they can very well win and then they have all the emotion and momentum and fan support against NE..........it can happen. Rivers was the qb during those four playoff years and Eli didnt forget he used to be in the playoffs either two years ago after being out of it for two years.

I have the AFC though like this atm
If we lose at NE
1.NE 13-3 losses at bills, dolphins, broncos(its week 1 in Buffalo and that will be tough)
2.Denver 12-4 losses at Dallas, at chargers, at chiefs, at texans
3.Pittsburgh 12-4 losses at jets, at raiders, at pats, at packers(not buying bengals yet and Brown could have succeeded without Wallace interferance)
4.Houston 10-6 losses at chargers, seahawks, at cards, jaguars, pats, at colts

5.San Diego 11-5 wins against all 4 AFC South teams, beats cowboys and giants, beats bengals(was that close last year), goes 4-2 in division(sweeps KC again who won't have a better or equal record before week 12)
6.Cincinatti 11-5(both they and steelers sweep ravens, steelers sweep bengals)

here SD at least gets to round 2. But this makes it more interesting because they go to NE and its likely Manning beats Pit so this sets up NE/Den.

If we beat NE
1.Denver 12-4(based on strength of victory)
2.New England 12-4
3.Pittsburgh 12-4
4.Houston 10-6
5.San Diego 11-5
6.Cincinatti 11-5

Here same thing round 1 except SD goes to Denver just four weeks after going there and on a Thursday which they should lose. Think about the ravens/broncos at this same week last year and what happened next meeting. NE also faces Pitt for second time and Pitt will likely play a better game than before, would not be surprised if the AFCCG is SD/Pit. Something tells me SD would win.

San Diego is so desperate right now they asked LT to come out of retirement... What does that tell you about the state of their team?

I do not see the Chargers beating Houston or Denver.

Then if they don't beat Houston or Denver then chances are they won't make it.

But I think they asked him back for the revenue. they are saying SD drafted Teo to get back a lost reputation.
