Re: Tyrann Mathieu " America a wicked cruel place to reside"

Thomas Hobbes, a giant in political and economic theory wrote in his landmark Leviathan:

Quote:

In such condition, there is no place for industry; because the fruit thereof is uncertain: and consequently no culture of the earth; no navigation, nor use of the commodities that may be imported by sea; no commodious building; no instruments of moving, and removing, such things as require much force; no knowledge of the face of the earth; no account of time; no arts; no letters; no society; and which is worst of all, continual fear, and danger of violent death; and the life of man, solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short.
Since he has independently expressed a theme that resonates throughout history, let's see where he goes with it before piling on with ad hominem attacks (which, by the way, are the lowest of the low arguments of logic)

So we have a young man coming from the hoods of New Orleans and y'all want to question the things he's gone through to come to such a conclusion? I've lived in the 9th Ward, and it takes far less then those circumstances to scar children for life. Places like that are our versions of Syria in America. I'm not surprised at the backlash though...like dude said earlier, when you don't like someone or something you take everything out of context.

America is last the great evil that is spoken about in the Bible. Sadly this country has been taken over by evil forces. This is no reflection on the individuals in this country. It's the money changers.

Slippery slope my friend. His statement is protected from prosecution, not persecution under the First Amendment. Much in the same way your comment is protected, as well as our comments about both of your comments from "prosecution"..

In the end, to use the First Amendment as an argument to chastise someone that exercised the First Amendment is merely a dog chasing its tail.

Legality has little bearing on form in regards to public opinion.

He just needs to keep his head down, his mouth shut, and prove himself physically if he ever hopes to leave his demons (which he created) behind and have a shot in the NFL.

We also have that same freedom of speech to call his comments absolute horsecrap if we want to.

So basically you just called yourself an A-hole for slamming our right to freedom of speech. Perhaps you should just shut the F' up and deal with the fact that that right works both ways.

Only cowards and losers are judging others before themselves!
TYRAN MATHIEU HAS EVERY RIGHT TO FREEDOM OF SPEECH!
Alright so he got little melodramatic on twitter after a terrible senseless to us Americans Terrorist Attack! What he said is true all you had to add to what he said about America look America is good for making money to an extent but other countries prosper as well not all but some but America is cruel it is wicked the whole world is read the Bible and you know evil does exist so Tyran harped on some sad truths but all he forgot to say America is just as crooked as any other country OPEN YOUR EYES Sure we support all our country and all Americans but to think all American Government is always ethical and righteous is just plain wrong and naive so my belief is support our troops and our Military Govt but Support American Government with open eyes! No one knows. Looking at WWII, we haven't come close to being as bad world wide as things were then.
