I'd say no, he has played plenty for the Vikes while injured.

The migraines have been dealt with and should no longer be an issue for him, but his playing style is something that will both get fans excited and scratching their heads at the same time. He doesn't go down easy and unnecessarily takes on tackles for an extra yard or two while he would be better served just going down or running out of bounds.

The Vikes certainly made a wise choice in trading him and Patterson could be as explosive as Harvin was.

I predict that this guy will become a stud for the Vikes within 3 years. Size, quickness and good hands. I agree, they made the right move.

He had headaches all during the week before the NFC Championship Game. And my recollection is that he was kind of a non-factor in that game, including one of their fumbles. So I'd be inclined to say, yes.

Naturally this is a matter of an opinion, but migraines are much worse than mere headaches, especially in the case of Harvin.

He reportedly had to spend most of his time in a "blackroom" when one of his migraines struck him, so as to provide him with the comfort of total sensory deprivation. So, going through that leading up to a game - I'd say an individual can't be too soft to be able to do that, especially when we are talking about a full contact sport like football.

But more than that, he played through many nagging injuries with the Vikes while still putting his best effort out there (being their best offensive weapon at times with AP). And to me it seemed that the Vikes weren't able to fully utilize him in their offense because of Ponder's lackluster QBing and/or the unimaginative playcalling in general - not because Harvin was/is soft.

I think Russell Wilson needed Harvin to take the next step. They may struggle this year.
