Eating what you kill is one thing... Killing something for a trophy isn't illegal but it is not what most hunters do by choice, but there is no intent of pain and suffering on the hunted. Hunters do not fire to wound, and if an animal is wounded it is tracked and put down.

There is also the fact that hunters do not hunt domesticated animals. Putting two domesticated animals in a ring and having them fight to the death is cruelty.

I have hunted since I was a child, I have nothing hanging on my walls to show for any of my kills. Nothing stuffed as a trophy.. I had a rabbit pelt once but the meat was eaten.

Your opinion on hunters and hunting is akin to a little old ladies opinion on gang members.

My opinion on hunters is the same as a dog fighter, I don't care, and neither should go to jail. I'm saying if Vick is demonized, so should hunters. Domestication doesn't make an animal special. Ask PETA.

Did you just refer me to PETA for validation of an opinion?

Think about that one...

I'm just saying an animal is an animal to me in regards to Vick. Don't agree with the demonizing of Vick, or Cooper for that matter. I feel what Cooper did is worse, just not illegal. Lets talk football. Meet me in the Breaston thread.

Your leaving out one vital fact. Vick wasn't demonized, he went to jail for breaking the law.

Vick gets a lot of hate his way for it. Like he's a monster or something. I've seen some allude to the fact he shouldn't be in the NFL after such an act. I completely disagree, and will always support Vick. And hopefully Cooper can recover from this and have a good career, because blacks, myself included, have said plenty of crazy things to white people on the field and in the locker room. Not excusing him, but you know...still.

Mike Pouncey doesn't really come across as a very bright guy. First the Hernandez hoopla and now this.

Yeah, he does come across as a bit of an activist, eh? His sympathy for his fellow NFL'ers is indeed admirable, but in such high-profile cases, it's probably best to keep it on the down-low, not fan fires & let the rule-of-law sort things out, eh? After all, we are a country of laws,.
