Meet New Orleans Saints super fan Lionel Alphonso Sr., Da Pope | Football Animals

Good example of a dedicated , crazy fan.
Da Saints' Pope.

I also love the signs people make for games. Too funny.

I like your thread, but you need two separate threads.
One for the vid of the arrest.
One about going to games.
That is a very good thread to post about.

No signs, no nothing, you just had to guess the road was closed, the only road leaving my fathers dental practice.

I drove up to a police car with 3 guys there to ask "can we proceed down this road now?"

One plain clothes ass-hole cop walks backwards into my car, I slammed by breaks going all of 2 mph, and he yells "WHAT ARE YOU INSANE! YOU TRIED TO RUN OVER ME" when I said CALMLY "I have a car full of 6 people and you deliberately walked backward into my car. I was driving 2 miles per hour toward your car to ask a question. Can we pass here?"

When mister undercover "bad cop" decided to go ballistic, slam his hands on the hood of my car, and reached for his holster, another police office standing there who saw it all happen stopped him by putting his hand between him and my car and said "NO" and he calmly answered my question.

Luckily, that day, the entire PD had NO RESPECT for the "bad cop" detective. On any other day, I could have been thrown in jail, unjustly, by someone abusing his authority.

And there is the problem with police. It's not the good police at all.

Precisely how it should have been handled. You didn't get out of the car after being told not to or try to stay in your car when being told to get out. You didn't start yelling about your rights, calling him a pig, try to chest bump him. In so many words you told him, "I am only looking for an answer to my question, are you sure you want to do this here"? A cooler head prevailed, had you got out screaming and yelling it would have turned out differently. :)
