Dude you're not kidding. This is the worst football game I've watched in a long time. They both blow. Yuck. I may switch to PBS soon - or Boomerang, or static. Either would be better than this punt-fest...

Worst game of the year. Rather watch the Pro Bowl blindfolded.

Thumbs up to all.
I started watching Va Tech vs. Ga Tech on ESPN which was horrible. Switch to the NFL game which was also horrible, then switched back to ESPN to watch more of the awful college game. After bouncing back and forth watching the NFL and college games, VaTech won and was forced to watch the painful misery that was the Lambs vs 39ers full time.

It was torture.

Re: Lambs vs. Whinners on TNF

Too bad if you watched that. Edna Karr vs. John Curtis last night was like, one of the most amazing football games I have seen on TV in YEARS, maybe EVER. Heavily favored Curtis rolled up a ridiculous 23-0 lead, looking like the 50's Baltimore Colts, methodical and solid, steamrolling. Then Karr started coming back, chipping away, while Curtis starts to struggle. Karr QB “Speedy’’ Noil, gets injured in the first quarter, but stays in the game and passed for four touchdowns and 273 yards for Karr. Suddenly it's a one score game, late in the 4th quarter, and Karr comes back to take the lead on an explosive and very Saints-like long pass play. Curtis' next drive goes nowhere. Then, with a 3 point lead, Karr gets the ball back -- all they need is a first down to run out the clock, but they can't get it! So they punt the ball to John Curtis who then suddenly ROLL down the field to end up at the 4 yard line, with less than a minute to play, four downs to get in the end zone but with no time outs to stop the clock, because they used them all earlier on defense. A crazy finish, with Curtis scoring a rushing touchdown, a two-point conversion, and then a wild heroic final series from Karr, trying the Hail Mary, giving it everything they got. It had as many crazy emotional surges as an NFL playoff game!

This game was INCREDIBLE and I was glued to the set. I will definitely be watching the local HS game on CST next week. St. Aug vs. somebody.
