If we stop the only play in Carolina's offense (hint: Scam throws up a prayer to Smith for a PI or push-off catch or Scam scrambles), we'll be fine. Feeling good about our O-Line against CAR's front 7 right now considering what they did against SF.
We will be lucky to win one of those 2 games. Sometimes we get stupid on the road against the Panthers. The Panthers remaining schedule is at the Dolphins, Bucs at home, at the Saints, Jets & Saints at home, at the Falcons.

We have; at the Falcons, at the Seahawks, Panthers at home, at the Rams, at the Panthers, Bucs at home.

Which team is on a roll & has the easiest schedule?

I am on planet reality. I understand it may not be your reality. And I hope you are right. I do like the way our defense is playing. Our offense is great. However I hold my breath every time we go on the road.

When was the last time we beat the Seahawks? It wasn't 2 years ago when the Seahawks won their division with a 9-8 record and made us look stupid in that playoff game. We have a way of crumbling in must situations especially when we will be trying to keep up with the Panthers.

I take away one thing from this game, and it's that the Panthers defense is not nearly as good as people have been saying. Front 7 is great, sure, but Brady showed that a lot of quick passes and 3-step drops and they're vulnerable to the edges. That's just the kind of thing Brees specializes in. I think Sproles is bound to have a monster game against that team.
exile and SloMotion like this.

Also on planet reality is a little statistic that says the Saints have the best (that's right, the BEST) road record in the NFL since 2006.

Don't buy into the media's BS.

When was the last time we beat the 49ers?

See brother, that next time... last time doesn't carry water unless it's within the same season.

That was the first full game I watched of the Panthers this season, and I gotta' tell ya', I was concerned ... that puts it in the proper perspective ... it ain't a 'Josh Freeman/Christian Ponder' back there taking snaps for the Saints, ... get out da' heart medicine.

While he sucks his teeth lol.
That was the most awkward post game interview ever! The reporters were afraid to ask questions, so covered they it up with uncomfortable silence!
I thought it was hilarious!

I loved this one:

Reporter - "did you find the Panthers receivers speed to be a challenge"?

Bill - "um, every team has fast receivers.... mumble mumble .... we have fast receivers ... mumble mumble... We face fast receivers every week"....

I think it was on purpose. He was trying to make a statement about that last call without getting in trouble with the league and he who shall not be named. Everybody knew why he was pissed. His silence just put an exclamation point on it.

Similar to both teams' situations last year, but vice versa
