What's going on? Hmm...

Well I can't speak for either fan base, but it's expensive, prohibitively expensive, to attend a game. Most have to plan it well in advance. It's understandable IMO.

True but could you see the Superdome blacked out for a playoff game? I couldn't.

"Remarkably, the Green Bay Packers have plenty of tickets for sale for this Sunday's playoff matchup against the San Francisco 49ers."

Update: 13,000 tickets still for sale for Packers playoff game - JSOnline

Actually same thing in GB.

Meanwhile, Tuesday I received my 6 season tix plus an extra 4, which would have sold for 3X face value. Beyond depressing.
Anyone want to buy 20 Saints playoff book-markers, mint condition, face value $120 each?

White House admits real employment data; NFL playoff tickets not selling out. Obama assigns Vick as an economic advisor to get to the root of the problem. This would be great fodder for the Onion.

Attending an NFL playoff game for 1 person is probably close to 500.00, considering parking, concessions and tickets

Watching it with 4 to 6 friends in a 70 degree living room on a 52" big screen with food and beverage costs under 50.00, its not a hard choice for most Americans.
