Raiders cheerleaders sue team for unpaid wages
 

The suit, filed in Alameda (Calif.) County Superior Court on behalf of current and former Raiderettes, claims the NFL team engaged in wage theft and other unfair employment practices. Specifically, the suit charges that the team withholds all pay from the Raiderettes until after the season is completed, does not pay for all hours worked and forces the cheerleaders to pay many of their own business expenses.

"It's as if the Raiders' owners believe that the laws that protect all workers in California just don't apply to them," attorney Sharon Vinick said.

Not enough information there.

Yes, the NFL cheerlearders get paid a nice pay for what they do per the ball club they work for.

It is not a lifetime job or career.
It is not a job where they , I am sure have health benefits.
Many of the girls have real full-time jobs and good jobs. Many are in school or working in professions and no, stripping is not one of them. Ball clubs have really hard rules for the cheerleaders.
After taxes, their pay is really not that much for a year or season depending on the ball club. What that ball club calls a work year for their cheerleaders depends. DCC have off season appearances.

The Radieretes have to get what they were signed to, but nothing else.

That pay is aweful for that kind of stage. That's not even minimum wage.

I thought NFL cheerleaders worked for like a hundred dollars a game for each of the home games.

I thought they got noteriety and got mall openings and Bar Mitzvahs from it.
