Say what you want, I think the madden curse is more than a myth

people were convinced brees would break the "madden curse" then proceeded to tear his ACL in week 3 and throw 22 interceptions over the season

Larry Fitzgerald broke the curse in 2010
Drew Brees broke the curse in 2011
Calvin Johnson broke the curse in 2012.

I agree about larry and calvin, but I wouldn't neccessarily say brees tearing his ACL and throwing 22 picks can be considered as breaking the curse

I don't believe it was a torn ACL. Not sure how he could have played at all with such an injury... and if he was allowed to play with such an injury then someone needs to be flogged.

Drew Brees broke the curse in 2011. i thought it was over. Don't wish ill on anyone.
