I think Manziel will be another Leinart

Too many signs already. His most recent antics is very reminiscent of Leinart, who was hanging out and partying with Nick Lachey. Leinart was a big time failure in the NFL. Manziel missed two years of college to go pro. This is also a problem for college football, it is becoming too big. Rappers and celebrities are getting too involved with the sport as much as the NFL. And if Manziel were to succeed it is going to hurt the NFL. There is no way I could watch the NFL regularly if Manziel is doing well and talked about and pulling off this Hollywood crap still. When we envisioned Manziel being the next best pro QB, we were envisioning a old fashioned-like QB with a Luck approach but better. That went out the window because the greedy rappers had to corrupt him.

If he wasnt a celebrity, he would still be in college. I just honestly cannot see how he can succeed while partying too.

Punk, rich kid without respect for the game or sportsmanship. I do not wish injury for any player, but I hope this @$$clown gets railed every time he scrambles and get abused by secondaries with numerous pick six's...then bury his butt far down the depth chart. His "One-Read-Then-Scramble" technique might have worked at A&M, but I don't foresee that working very long.

Oh, and I'd love seeing Cleveland becoming a playoff contender and winner with this arrogant jack@$$ marinating at 3rd string. The only injury I wish for him is to his ego...a massive destruction of it.

Matt Leinart is no Johnny Manziel. I've never seen a player embarrass a Nick Saban defense like that. Besides this kid is not a gangster or a drug addict. What has he done that's so bad? No one enjoyed the night life like Joe Namath and he's a hall of famer with a ring.

I agree with all of you and add , if I am not mistaken, Manz is one of the new style QB's that runs out of the pocket at first chance. First thing to do is QB , act like a RB or TE. One day, one of these guys will get seriously hurt as in out of the season or short career because of the new style.

Manziel has more upside than Leinart by a large margin. I don't see a big problem with him partying. I don't think other players are much different than him in regards to their extracurricular activities, the only difference is that the media focuses on him. This is probably due to the fact that he is an attention junkie... he likes the spot light. If he doesn't get too ahead of himself, this could be a positive trait. That being said, this is the NFL; and if you underestimate what it takes to be successful you are going to burn.

Isn't it training camp time? Getting ready to at least look like and getting mentally and all ready for training camp?
Putting for PR sake out there one is ready and pre-training for training camp esp. if one is a big -named , rookie guy.

Well Manziel is hanging out the every real man's most hated member of the same sex. No offense, well actually, much offense. I'd hate to honestly see Manziel succeed in the NFL even more now especially since that means his new best friend will be getting off topic attention more than he already has.
