Warren Sapp does not tip waitstaff.Doesn't believe in it.
this is a discussion within the NFL Community Forum; Y! SPORTS and I hope he really,really goes bankrupt now. I am too to post further. Discuss amoungst yourselves....

She called him : boy, honey....etc. He did not like that.
The wait staff meant it endearing. Not demeaning. I get what you are saying about default and not earning. I also think there is some limit to tipping places and people like the Shipleys' donut shop? Really! Why not tip the sales assoc. at Macys then? Where does it end? The hair stylists, hotel bell hop, nail salon tech, wait staff. That is it. |

I don't believe in tipping either. I'd rather see the employees getting paid enough to start with. We have no tip or service charges in Sweden, they are always included. I do however still tip if I get excellent service.
And to be on topic, Sapp is a douche. |

There are plenty of people who don't believe in tipping. I do find though that people who have worked in the service industry tend to tip. They realize how much it matters. I personally came to appreciate it while delivering pizzas. Every tip helped, and was appreciated.
