I know it wasn't his decision, but linemen leaving our team have had bad luck. It goes back to Kyle Turley or maybe even before that. LeCharles Bentley, Jeff Faine, Carl Nicks, Jamaal Brown, and now DLP.

Goodwin is the only one I can think of who left and had a decent career

I think I saw an OG we used to have (Tiller?) playing the other night. And Bushrod is serviceable in Chicago, but yeah it looks like OL leaving the Saints is some bad voodoo.

I hope he heals up quick. He really came through for the Saints during the whole Olin Kreutz fiasco. He was an undersized nobody that came out of nowhere and solidified the line.
