Packers release A J Hawk
 

The status of Hawk's release was "failed physical," which comes as a result of the 31-year-old inside linebacker having ankle surgery in early February. However, Hawk didn't technically fail any recent physical, because he didn't have a physical done.

Not sure if the Saints could afford him, but, they could bring him in for a workout.

If I could pick 1 LB to go, it would be Lofton (because Hawthorne is surely gone). Why people like him is beyond me.

Don't care about his stats or PFF rating: just look at where he's making his tackles and how often he's caught up in the trash and out of the play.

If that's too hard (and it is without DVR/rewind unless you're a coach), then just notice how often we're gashed in the run game even right up the middle.

AJ Hawk ... great NFL name but very average LB.

He may retire.
