Pierre Thomas could soon join the Houston Texans. The former New Orleans Saints running back is on his way to Houston to take a physical with the Texans, NFL Network has reported.

The Texans could be without running back Arian Foster for the start of the season due to a groin injury that could require surgery, ESPN has reported. The No. 2 running back behind Foster is former LSU back Alfred Blue.

I'd love to see him get a gig for a few more years. I know I'm not alone in
thinking he's got a lot left in the tank. I wish him the best and look forward to pulling for him this season.

Still think this was a huge mistake by the saints. I hope this he does not prove the mistake cut of the 2015 off season for the saints. But I seriously doubt it. I think some where early in the season we will start to see what huge mistake this move was. Blitz pick up is so huge in our system and so greatly under valued for some reason.

Who ever picks PT up will make the media ask why was he still on the market?

They will be getting one of the best screen back in the buisness. He's still slippery running the ball, picks up the blitz well I think the Texans get a solid back to help them alot.

I am surprised the Lions have not looked at Pierre, for a while there they had so many of our ex-running backs and fullbacks at some point, it was like watching a Saints preseason game from 2009.
