It isn't "N/S sort of".. it is non-Saints. It is not news, let alone a revelation.

If you dont want anything to do with this thread, then just skip iver it. It's that simple.

I think it's somewhat ridiculous that people say "move on" about a player that was very relevamt to the team the last few years. Move on past the thread if you're not interested.

I think this is perfectly topical, because one of the HUGE topics we've had this year, was "what were we thinking when we traded away Graham?" And lot of people, including some of us, blasted the trade. Some of us, I believe were raising hell about it.

Lets dont kid ourselves. This not only answers some questions we had, but also gives you an indication that maybe our leadership does have a clue.

Its 'merica..

Not exactly. I don't recall Graham ever lining up with his hand on the ground as an in-line TE here. We argued that he was a TE because he lined up within a certain yardage of the tackle on x amount of snaps. But come on... We never used him as a real TE. DB's like Joe Haden were covering him last year.

He had an advantage lining up as a tight end OR slot receiver because he's getting covered by linebacker's and safeties most of the time. If he were a true WR, he wouldn't be quick enough to get open on corners. Don't believe me? See Jimmy vs. Aqib Talib a couple years back. And Talib isn't even a shut down guy. He's a play-maker who often gets burned.

Just because he can't block doesn't mean he wasn't a tight end. He had a tight end frame, with a skill-set (receiving-wise) that worked best at that position. The fact that he stinks at blocking just doesn't speak very well of him.

But I do... tell you to get over it, and let it go.

1. He's not with the N.O. Saints anymore.

2. It should not come as any sort of news, surprise, or revelation to anyone that Jimmy Graham can't block: he had exactly 1 year of college football played when he got drafted by the Saints. In that year, he was never asked to block anyone. Up until this year, he has never, ever been asked to block anyone in the NFL either. How would he even know how to block, especially block players who have been practicing shedding blocks since H.S.?

What's sad about the whole thang is, pretty much any of us coulda' held Travis Lewis (DET) out longer than that, ... as for Ray Lewis' opinion, all I wanna' know is "What happened to the suit Ray? What happened to the suit?".
