Re: Atlanta has helped us even more

Had we won yesterday & gone over .500 I would be more excited than waiting for the Falcons to drop back to us. Being 2nd in the division would not make us a playoff team. Waiting for other teams to screw up in order to make the playoffs is not what we should be looking at. Sure some help is appreciated however loosing to the Titans tells me we are at .500 team only.

Dallas will beat us to it. But I'm also thinking Tennessee might pull out a upset to offset a jump pattern. Personally, what Arizona does this week will say a lot about Carolina's chances for top seed. I would rather play Carolina than Arizona in postseason divisional round so if we get road possibilities of NJ, Green Bay, and Carolina the first two rounds I like our chances a lot if we get in.

And we will get that help. Seattle and St.Louis have to play each other again and also Arizona, who is going to be contending for the top seed. St.Louis also isn't good enough in the passing game to win in Baltimore, and definitely will not win in Cincinatti. Seattle also probably does not go through Minnesota and Baltimore both. St.Louis loses to Baltimore, Cincinatti, Arizona, and Seattle to go 8-8 and perhaps 7-9 losing to SF is season's over. Minnesota is losing to Oakland(because it's in Oakland), Seattle, Arizona, and Green Bay, and I will not be surprised if they lose to giants, who have a track record on the road against defensive teams. They may lose to GB twice if TB is out that game. And Atlanta is probably going to beat them. So I say 9-7 there. The eagles will win the division if they go 10-6 and we have the head to head and conference record edge over giants. All we need is to win out or sweep Atlanta. We'll see what happens this week.

Not really. Hasselbeck has won every game he's played in this season. I'm glad we played Luck instead of him. I seriously doubt he would have thrown all those picks.
