Aretha Franklin National Anthem

this is a discussion within the NFL Community Forum; asking Aretha to sign the anthem is the same thing as asking Rosanne to sign it you know ahead of time what your going to get so sit back and buckle your seat belt and enjoy the show....

Whitney's SB 25 was both traditional and expressive. Renditions such as Aretha's can tend to be indulgent. This is the type of thing that opens the Pandora's box to other over-inflated expressions just for the sake of marketing their careers.
I appreciate the work that went into this production, but a game is not the platform for this.

whitney did it lovely, just lovely. if you want to perform it in that manner do it at your concerts, that is an appropriate forum.

one time that child rapist that pees on people sang it for boxing but did a little dance. horrible and shameful
