Ray Lewis statue removal petition

I want the Ray Lewis statue at Ravens Stadium removed because of his refusal to stand during the National Anthem. That song honors our country and our veterans who fought for it. To kneel during it is disrespectful, regardless of what you are protesting. I will not stand for that kind of disrespect towards our country, especially from a legend such as Ray Lewis. You stand for the National Anthem as a salute to those who can't stand because they fought for this land.

It's ironic that Kaepernick's militant GF who's Yoko-Ono'ed Kaepernick, essentially called Lewis an Uncle Tom when Lewis was lobbying Ravens ownership to sign Kaep to replace Falco (okay, I know it's Flacco, life imitating art)...

The irony is in the fact that the person starting this movement did so because of Ray Lewis kneeling, when Ray Lewis has always been against the gesture. Ray Lewis is getting heat from both sides, but it's because he's trying to play both sides of the fence.

I like Ray but he is all over the place on this one. So is the NFL, people sitting, standing, people in locker room. Define a protocol. Stand or sit on the bench. Looks like an out of control daycare.

Unless Ray is found guilty after all of the murder or convicted for a serious felony leave the statue up. Slippery slope if we start taking down statues of living people because of their political opinions. I mean what's next, taking down Shaq's because he's a reserve cop?

That was a huge issue with the majority of people. I still can't stand the guy and they never should have erected a stutue in his honor, unless it was behind bars.
