Re: NFL national anthem protest denting ticket sales

New Orleans Saints to make nearly $400M in state subsidies by 2025. Make is read "PROFIT"

Calling them "MY" Saints is accurate, they are paid for by "YOU". The owner is a billionaire thanks to "YOU". "YOU" pay for all the stupid free agent signings, the constant 7 - 9 seasons.

P.T. Barnum was correct "There's a sucker born every minute"

Sung to tune of "Send In The Clowns"

Fans made them rich!
Billions in public taxes each year!
League blackmail dollars
For the "Team" to remain "Here"
Send in the BOOBS
Isn't it bliss?
Don't you approve?
One who keeps taking and taking
So they don't move
Where are the BOOBS?
Send in the BOOBS
Isn't it time that we stopped opening doors
To stadiums and perks paid for with yours?
Making their entrance again with their usual flair
Sure of THEIR lines
NO ONE SHOULD BE THERE
Don't you love farce?
OUR fault, I fear
They thought that you'd want what They want
Sorry, my dear
But where are the BOOBS?
There ought to be BOOBS!
That's what the NFL sees siting in the seats!!

While I am sure that is having an affect, I think it's also because the league is doing it's best to milk every possible dollar out of the fans, and some are saying, "Why pay all that when I can sit in front of a big screen TV at home?"

I don't agree with it one bit. But it is free speech.
