Jerry Jones hires David Boies to fight Goodell extension
 

Well, now we know why Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is no longer part of the Compensation Committee.

According to Ken Belson of the New York Times, Jones has hired lawyer David Boies in connection with Jones’ ongoing push against Goodell’s contract extension. Per the report, Jones told the other members of the Compensation Committee last week that he had retained Boies, a high-profiled and accomplished attorney.

Jones has threatened to file suit over the issue. No lawsuit has been filed yet, however.

According to Belson, the Compensation Committee decided to revoke Jones’ ad hoc status as a member of the six-owner group after he disclosed his plans last week. PFT first reported on Tuesday evening that Jones no longer is a member of the Compensation Committee, in any capacity. The reasons for his departure weren’t known at the time.

Got to laugh now one of Jerrys precious little Cowboys is on the receiving end of a suspension he wants to act. Didn't care when other players,Saints,Pats all took hit but know its one of his own things change.

Can't see how he wins either.
The owners put a process in place and he never had enough support to stop it now throwing his toys out the pram and threatening law suits allround if he doesn't get his way.

Right now, I'm cheering for Jerry. And it's true, he does have endlessly deep pockets to fight godHELL. I think godHELL picked on the wrong owner this time. Let's hope it ends godHELL once and for all. Hate that dude forever.

Why are you blaming the man that is a mouthpiece for the 32 owners?
