Damn. He’s almost 30. That’s a bad age for comers and running backs alike.

Well, he was talking about retirement earlier this season, it may now be a foregone conclusion...

Knowing Sherman he'll rehab intensely if, for no other reason, to have quality of life moving forward...

But regaining that elite explosiveness, at that age, would be a test for him and modern medicine...

I didn’t know he was talking retirment. That’s probably why he hasn’t looked as dominant as he used to. His heart isn’t in the game anymore.

Do away with Thursday Night Football. Athletes don't have much time for recovery & rehab. 3 days rest? C'mon on.

I'll second that, Major...

It's one thing when it's late in the season with college regular season done, and to have Saturday football.

But Thursday night color rush crap was nothing more than a vehicle to sell jerseys, scrips to NFLN that failed...

And that's usually the first disposable income to be cut by individuals and small establishments in hard times...

Many non-draft type fans don't realize he graduated from Stanford early, started his Master's his final year of eligibility...

Even with the resources and perks college football players get, that's no small feat at Stanford...

But with his Communications degree, I wouldn't be surprised he transitions very well to the next phase of his career...

And so the NFL War of Attrition continues...

While i agree
How many of the players will be happy taking a cut in salary with a decrease in revenue and sponsorship deals?
