this is a discussion within the NFL Community Forum; Doesn't matter, really, the silent majority turned off television subscriptions, stopped buy NFL merchandise, and ceased purchasing sponsors' products... And the majority decided #enough, it's about paying respect to the flag and those who gave the ulitmate sacrifice. Twitter...

Its a private business. They can do what they want.
It has nothing to do with "civil rights"

The NFL should sue Kaeperdick for ruining the league TV viewership with this political BS which has no place in the NFL. It is down 40% since they started this crap.

This has to stop before the season starts. Again.
It is simply bad for business first of all.
Forget everything else of personal feelings or agreeing or not agreeing with Goodell, the players, whoever.

Goodell was wrong here to impose this .
Yes he was wrong.
Wrong because he is continuing the problem and adding to the oroblem instead of eliminating the problem.

Eliminate the problem.
Have PofA and NA done BEFORE teams are called out.
Poof! Problem gone.
No one is protesting PofA and NA.
No groups are protesting in front of NFLs NY offices.
Nothing.
No one.
No NFL players union topic anymore.

I am sure then the NFLP union, players, and fans who support them would protest the NFL not giving the chance to protest what they want to protest
Lol. Geesch!

NFL needs to cut me a check for solving this problem.

What fixes the problem is when some protesters of convenience stop hijacking the solemness of the National Anthem...

If they want to fix problems with the police, first, stop their own hypocrisy and go even a month without domestic abuse violations...

Memorial Day Weekend.

Good going NFL and this week and protestors.

Good going for turning off sponsors and viewers before 2018 even starts.

Really smart.

Re: PFT: Civil rights activists protest outside league office on Friday

In my opinion respect the US Flag and the National Anthem. There are plenty of other
Outlets where players can voice their concerns about injustices. No doubt their issues
are legitimate and should be brought to light. Respect for our Country is beyond Politics,
the NFL, Owners and Players. Looking around the World there's no other Country that I
would want to live in.
Although I must admit I always wanted to check the Pacific Islander box on
Government applications...
