The Falcons have informed Julio Jones that they have no plans to give him the raise that he is seeking before the 2018 season, but they maintain hope that Jones will report to training camp on time next week, The Athletic has learned.

They've got several other players to address with contract extensions including, but not limited to OT Jake Matthews, DT Grady Jarrett and RB Tevin Coleman...

And then you've got All-Pro DE Vic Beasley, and LBs Deion Jones and De’Vondre Campbell right behind that to get done...

Julio is just gonna have to learn to stop spending all his money on losing $150K diamond ear rings...

He also has no leverage on his contract. He signed a long term deal, 3 more years and he is old. Falcons have you by the balls.

Precisely.

Maybe he should have signed a shorter deal (see Kurt Cousins, Revis), trust in your ability, become a FA then get paid a zillion dollars.
