Jameis Winston benched after fourth interception returned for TD
 

Dirk Koetter finally saw enough from Jameis Winston, but it took four interceptions, the last returned for a touchdown by the Bengals.

Winston completed 18 of 35 passes for 276 yards and a touchdown but matched his career high with four interceptions. He also threw four in a 2015 loss to Carolina and a 2016 loss to Arizona.

He now has thrown 10 interceptions since returning from a three-game suspension.

The Bucs yanked him in favor of Ryan Fitzpatrick, who started the first four games in Winston’s absence.

Bad decision maker off the field. Bad decision maker on the field. Talent is there. Maturity is not. He’s someone who will be a better player later on his career when his skill set begins to diminish...if he isn’t out of the league completely.

He's gold for you? I'm not trying to be condescending, but if I were playing fantasy football right now, I'd want nothing to do with a guy who turns it over that much. Fitzpatrick has put up better numbers, even with his tendency to turn it over, hasn't he?

Maybe pick him up. Back when I used to participate in a "league", players like Winston and Cutler were guys I wouldn't start under almost any circumstances. Too Mercurial.

I think Winston is a good back up at this level. He threw a lot of pics at Fl. State too though.

I've seen very little progress since he was drafted. Bucs may move on in 2019.
