Oust Theisman and Irvin Grassroots Effort

Were you like me when the second game came on last night and asked why isn't this the starting team? Tirico is okay. Kornheiser I don't think is particularly knowledgeable but bearable. Pompous Theisman chaps my arse and makes me talk to the tv everytime I have to watch a game with him though.

Michael Irvin? Do you read Tom Jackson's mind wanting to slap him with his loud mouthed 6th grade tirades? Ans why does he have to wear clown outfits?

Anyhoo, join my cause write ESPN (more than once) and if nothing else, state get rid of Theisman and Irvin.

Here's where you do it-

Done!! Kornhole is an attempt to ressurect Howard Cossell the great Jewish Announcer. Unfortunately, like New Orleans with Dildoberto trying to imitate Glaudi, it just don't work. Theisman must have been brain damaged when he broke his leg, cause no one can say the stupid things he says and be considered either sane or intelligent. No one. Michael Irwin is just a common street crack addict.

Ya know what? More than just getting rid of Theisman, which I agree with completely, they need to PLEASE STOP getting into rehearsed arguments. Man that sucks pond water through a straw. Enough already. Bring back Dennis Miller. LOL

I logged in to make this exact argument lkelly. The second game was called as a game should be called.

I, too, went to the link that you provided and voiced my displeasure. Hacks. Both of them. Stuart Scott is a joker too but I digress.

Thanks for the link.

This is a pretty big bandwagon that desrves some airplay-

You know, we probably could do a weekly Ten-Pack based exclusively on the contradictions and other maddening statements offered up by Joe Theismann of ESPN. Here's a summary of our favorites from Week One.

First, Theismann blurted out that Antwaan Randle El came to Washington because he'd get more touches in the Redskins' offense. Yeah, Joe -- the fact that the 'Skins paid him far and away more than what the other team pursuing him (the Bears) offered probably had nothing to do with the decision.

Second, Sunshine elaborated for a while regarding the extent to which the zebras go out of their way to protect the quarterbacks, mentioning some of the flags thrown on Sunday for shots to the signal-callers. Of course, he made no reference at all to the fact that no penalty was called when Bengals defensive end Robert Geathers nearly gave Trent Green the guillotine treatment.

Third, Theismann launched into full-blown hyperbole mode when proclaiming that Vikings quarterback Brad Johnson hadn't made a bad decision all night, only one drive after Theismann noted that Johnson was lucky that a ball thrown into triple coverage wasn't intercepted. ("But that wasn't a decision," Theisman might explain in response, "it was a pass.")

Fourth, Theismann showed off his research skills by explaining that Brad Childress is the only new coach in 2006 to inherit a team with a winning record in 2005. Apparently, Joe hasn't heard that Herm Edwards is coaching the Chiefs, who were 10-6 last season.

Finally, Theismann made a comment regarding cornerback Fred Smoot's loquaciousness, opining that Smoot just likes to hear himself talk.

Joe, we figure you can't stand guys like that. Neither can we.
