Just thought I'd poke my head in for a bit and say Hi & wassup. Been on vacation from work for the past 10 days & going back to the grind tomorrow night. If I can find someone to sublet our apartment here in Minnesota, I should be Louisiana home-bound by mid-November !!!!! Man, I am soooooo looking forward to some South Louisiana cooking & some South Louisiana FOOTBALL ... Gonna watch the Twins up here for now until they fall outta the playoffs ... As for the Vikings, uh, well, they aint what they were expecting up here ...

Update : On Thursday November 9th, we're(the wife & I) bound for Houma, LA on a return to my stomping grounds. It's been colder than a witches tit up here in Minnesota lately & the Louisiana warmth will be a welcome reprieve. Got almost all of our packling done, got approved for an apartment, now, if I could just get the deposit for the apartment - since we have the first month's rent - we'd be doing good. I gotta be able to give my movers an address and got, let's see ... 5 more days to do so ??? EEK !!!! I've spent the better part of my life flying on a wing & a prayer but this aint the time to do it again ... YIKES !!!! Looking forward to some REAL football when I get home ... not to mention some of my Mom's old fashioned GUMBO !!!! YES !!!!!
