Low carb works great. You can lose weight mighty fast. I did it one time and lost 30 pounds in about 1-1/2 months. The problem with the diet is it requires a life style change. If you starting eating over 100 grams of carbs per day, the weight comes back quick. I managed to keep about 10 pounds off.
I still try to limit my carbs.
