Police arrest Warren Easton shooting suspect

The New Orleans Police Department is now reporting that 18-year-old Shawn Ballard, who is suspected of shooting five people outside Warren Easton High School after a basketball game last Friday, turned himself in yesterday. Ballard is being charged with one count of attempted second degree murder, according to an email from NOPD spokeswoman Remi Braden.? [ Read more ]
