Kendrick Lamar, Kid Cudi, Primus, Passion Pit headline 2013 Buku music festival
 

Rising MCs Kid Cudi and Kendrick Lamar join Primus ("in 3-D"), electronic pop band Passion Pit and Scottish producer Calvin Harris and dozens others at the second annual Buku Music + Art Project, held March 8-9, 2013 at Mardi Gras World.

Buku marries rising stars in electronic music with their counterparts in hip-hop and indie rock ? this year, indie darlings Best Coast and Passion Pit will star alongside Kendrick Lamar, whose 2012 major label debut Good Kid, M.A.A.D City has earned heaps of critical acclaim, along with a ubiquitous radio hit, "Swimming Pools (Drank)."


Long-running experimental trio Primus performs at the festival following its "3-D-enhanced" tour, during which audience members will wear 3-D specs.? [ Read more ]
