Beasts of the Southern Wild earns four major Oscar nominations
 

Beasts of the Southern Wild, the surprise indie hit by New Orleans filmmaker Benh Zeitlin and his local Court 13 film collective, earned four major Oscar nominations this morning including Best Picture.
