City Council creates pedestrian/bike safety committee

The New Orleans City Council voted unanimously today to establish a Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Advisory Committee, as proposed by Transportation and Airport Committee chairman Jared Brossett. The committee will provide recommendations to the council pertaining to transportation safety concerns in accordance with the Vision Zero policy the council adopted in October 2014.? [ Read more ]
