Tiffin Inn Pancake House to close May 31, according to employees

The Tiffin Inn Pancake House, a fixture on Metairie's Veterans Memorial Boulevard since the 1970s, will serve its last order next Sunday, according to employees who were working there over Memorial Day weekend.*

The restaurant, which is located on the street side of a small mall at the corner of Veterans and Downs Boulevard, is leaving to make room for a new HomeGoods store going in on the spot, employees said, adding that the owners were looking for a new location in Jefferson Parish. *
