Margaritaville to close, reopen at new Decatur Street spot

Jimmy Buffett?s Margaritaville (1104 Decatur St., 504-592-2565) will close at the end of the month and reopen at a new location on upper Decatur Street later this year, says Director of Domestic Operations Bret Brown.

The Margaritaville space will be occupied by a B.B. King?s Blues Club, Brown said.

Margaritaville's employees and regular musicians were notified of the closing Thursday.
