 Members of The Deslondes (and its previous incarnation, The Tumbleweeds, led by Deslondes' "frontman" Sam Doores) have anchored New Orleans' growing country and folk songwriting circles over the last several years. The Deslondes*released their self-titled debut on Americana label New West Records June 9, and it*seamlessly weaves their classic country with New Orleans rhythm and blues, Stax soul, gospel and the roots of rock 'n' roll.?
