An 18-date "Blackest of the Black" tour stops in New Orleans in October with punk rock's horror-obsessed Roy Orbison, Glenn Danzig, with his namesake band,*and Phil Anselmo and his metal supergroup Superjoint. The bands perform at the Civic Theatre on Friday, Oct. 9.*Veil of Maya and Prong also are on the bill.

Danzig would be a good reason for me to NOT go anywhere. My grandmother could sing rock or metal better than him, and I'm not sure she even knows what that is.
