Comedian Eddie Izzard's Force Majeure world tour will stop at New Orleans' Saenger Theater Dec. 9, the theater announced this morning.

Izzard, who has been on a worldwide tour since 2013 (and played all 50 states along the way) has won many awards for his standup comedy, his theatrical work and his TV performances in The Riches, Hannibal and United States of Tara. Onscreen, he's appeared in Ocean's Twelve, Ocean's Thirteen and Valkyrie.?
