Uptown butcher shop Cleaver & Co. (3917 Baronne St., 504-227-3830) has closed.

The whole animal butchery and sandwich shop announced the shutter in a voicemail message to customers saying only that the store would close ?effective immediately? and that business with the team?s food truck would continue at some point in the future.?
