I'm lucky enough to have a desk job so that I can talk with you guys all day, but I must say that it's affecting my work. I'm a service manager for DirecTV and I'm a B&G addict.

I really enjoy this site and I'm sorry if I rub anyone the wrong way. I just have a dry wit.

Anyway, does anybody here have a inside guy with the team? That would be great. The closest thing to a source that I have is a guy that Lewis once delivered beer to.

Lol bignic this is pretty off-topic but I have a question about Direct TV. Pretty serious one too but I\'ll put it in your mailbox later when I get off work.

We had a guy named CanLoomis who knows some people in the organization supposely, but some people ran him off the boards. He doesn\'t come around much anymore. Maybe it was some people\'s fault from the forums, or maybe he just couldn\'t take criticism. Oh well...

As far as forum whoring haha :P ... everyone pretty much starts off that way. When I\'m at work, as well as many other as you can see, we tend to forum whore all day also. Just ask people who are posting as we speak. Gives me something to do at work or at home when I\'m bored. It\'s always nice to have something interesting to read... nothing\'s wrong with that.

Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege.

I don\'t think people ran him (CanLoomis) off necessarily, I mean, he didn\'t expect anybody to question his authenticity? C\'mon. Some believed he was a fraud, I thought possibly an alter-ego. (I also thought BigNic was an alter-ego. Remember, you\'re not paranoid if they\'re really after you. LOL)

However, occasionally we do have Talman Gardner\'s cousin!!! ha ha ha.

You should have never said you worked for DirecTV, by the way. I also have a question for you about that. I\'ll wait for you to say you don\'t mind before I shoot you a PM.

I have no problems with answering questions about DTV, that\'s what I do for a living.

I also had a few inquiries about DTV, more importantly..the NFL package...

The problem is..I currently enjoy a cable connection through COX, and the cable internet is tough to beat...I had no contracts to sign..and the rates are reasonable..to be honest..the commercials have me confused...i don\'t know who to believe ..I do know for a fact however that weather can drastically affect your connection if you have a sattelite

But, I desperatly want the NFL Direct package..and you guys have it all bought up for like 8 years or more...

Any info, or just opinion you could give would be great..

I don\'t particularly care for CanLoomis\' supposed inside knowledge either..but..I am the original who told him outright that I felt that way...and I got slammed for it...but..I\'m not going to dis him in here..send him a PM, and ask if he can assure you somehow of his authenticity...if it means that much to you(because it\'s obvious he wants you to believe him)...otherwise..you had your chance..and if you didn\'t take it then..chances are there won\'t be another...

CanLoomis - was a fraud. A few of us exposed him for some of the comments he said.
I to wounder if I should switch to direct tv... is it better than cable? Contracts worry me... Two reason I would switch is if its cheaper and I get NFL network. I do like to get the nfl ticket to watch all the Saints games at home instead of sports bars... wait scratch that my only excuse to check out waitresses/hootergirls.

I have Direct TV and wouldn't be without it. It's the best investment I have ever made. Sunday ticket is great, I already ordered it for this year.
