Longtime Uptown women's clothing boutique gae-tana's (7732 Maple St., 504-865-9625; www.gaetanas.com) reopens at 10 a.m. today after being closed more than three months to repair damage from a one-alarm fire May 19.

Williams Plum Street Snowballs will serve its specialty from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday.?
