 After severe weather canceled Bayou Boogaloo's opening day and damaged several booths and equipment, Friends of Bayou St. John and Tipitina's are throwing a benefit concert to support the*dozens of art vendors affected by the damage. "The Lost Set" concert features A Tribute Called Quest tribute outfit The Low End Theory Players along with Debauche and Tony Hall's Allstars (Alvin Ford Jr, Ari Teitel, Tillis Verdin, Khris Royal, Renard Poche, Tracy Griffins, Roderick Paulin and Vitas Paukstaitis). The concert is 7 p.m. Saturday, June 30.? |
