New Orleans Hornets will get some key opponents in early this season
 

They open against Milwaukee

The only visit by LeBron James and the Miami Heat to New Orleans comes early in the season. The Heat, fortified in the offseason when James and Chris Bosh signed as free agents to join Dwyane Wade in a much-ballyhooed combination, will play at the Arena on Nov. 5.

The Lakers will face the Hornets twice in New Orleans Dec. 29 and Feb. 5. Last season, the Lakers played one game in New Orleans.

The Boston Celtics, with free-agent signee Shaquille O'Neal joining Paul Pierce on the team that the Lakers defeated in the Finals, will play in New Orleans on March 19.
