Each time a player says he doesn't rule out a return to a team he just opted out for, usually he isn't returning lol.

I think he's making a mistake. Personally I'd be hard pressed to give him more than a full MLE coming off such a big injury and given that he's past 30. He would have been better off playing it out and rebuild his value. Maybe it's a play to ploy to get the Hornets to sign him long term... but it's not like he has much leverage on the situation.
