Common sense tells you that. The Republican political rhetoric has been very racist since President Obama took office. It's very prevalent in their political ads now running. The welfare ad is racist and a COMPLETE lie. His policy actually gives Governors MORE lattitude in their handling of welfare and it was done so at the request of REPUBLICAN Governors. LOL. I KNOW the majority of Republicans aren't racist. But, it has been a political tool Republican politicians have used at every turn. One never seen before. I personally find it sad and funny since there are more white people on assistance than african american people. My Mother ran the Housing Authority in our city for 30 years. The majority of her tennants were elderly and the working poor. Yes, there were some who were content to exist on assistance. But, that was always a small percentage. A very different picture from what the Republican party wants you to believe.

I watched Ann Romney's speech last night. I felt like I was watching some fictional character like June Cleaver. I felt like, every time she looked directly into the camera she was talking in code to some secret society. She did a fairly good job of trying to convince white women to vote for her husband. Certainly she must realize that working hard and building massive wealth is neither available nor an aspiration of all Americans. I feel that she needs to spend some quality time with the many honest and hard working people in East Oakland, East LA, East Baltimore, the Iron Triangle of Richmond and many other ethically, culturally and economically diverse areas across our nation.

Voting for a man BECAUSE of the color of his skin is just about as racist as they come, and many will tell you, quite openly, that they voted for Obama for that reason and for that reason alone.
