Re: Republicans NOT Supporting The Troops
I don't look at things from a Republican/Democrat viewpoint anymore, they're all equally to blame as far as I'm concerned. One of the first things I learned in the military was that there were no sides and we were all to work together towards the same objectives ... "If one of has to go to the bathroom (head), we all have to go to the bathroom (head)", as I remember it being so eloquently put to me ... funny the things you remember, eh? ... and this is about the military, so I thought that quote would be appropriate, seeing as how nobody's working together on Capitol Hill these days.
Thanks for posting the link ... seriously, even though I really don't like it. I don't like the fact the Repubs would vote against something to help out Vets (I'm kinda' interested in what type of jobs they're talking about in 'veterans to tend federal land' ... I'd like some outside work, It's politics run amok, god help us all that don't have millions stashed away somewhere like these m'fers running the country (into the ground).

Re: Republicans NOT Supporting The Troops
I understand your points. It would be nice to see either side do what's right without playing politics and/or attaching alot of crap on a good bill. Do the things you agree on and work on the rest. I guess that would be too simple. LOL.

The most glaring and ugly example, of course, is the passing of ObummerCare on Christmas Eve on a budget procedural vote (if you can remember, it was called Reconciliation). Quotes such as : "you have to pass the bill to read it and understand what's in it.". It was not called a tax then....however the Supreme Court deemed it a TAX, the only way it could survive under this procedural vote. Did Obummer not promise at least three days in the open for us to be able to review online? ObummerCare is to date the largest tax increase in American history... that will be eclipsed of course by "Taxmaggedon" in January. I know you won't mind paying 75%, right? | |

Re: Republicans NOT Supporting The Troops
President Obama said all the right things and ran a great campaign for sure. But, the reason he won was eight years of the Bush administration and the fact that he was the Democratic nominee. The only way he would have lost was if a picture of him smoking a cigar with Osama surfaced as a white teenage page looked out from under a desk. LOL. As to your negative comments about him, why do you think he's so far up in the polls? Especially in the swing states?

Re: Republicans NOT Supporting The Troops
Easy answer... CBS has zero credibility these days as many the leftstream media and their polls. The sample is slanted by 17% in Ohio and 10% in Florida. Gallop and Rasmussen are the best we have other than the not-for-public-consumption polls each party effects on their own. The race is too close to call heretofore, despite the incessant attempts by the complicit media to elicit a predetermined outcome. That is part of their game plan, of course. There are, however, many underlying bits of data that do not add up to what CBS is attempting to purport. We are in an effective tie as the margin of error, I believe, is +/- 3%.
