When President Obama came into office in January '09, employers cut 818K jobs and unemployment was at 8.3%. By, February '10 the job loss was at 4.3 million jobs. Unemployment peaked at 10%. It's now 7.9%. Not where we want it but better than when he took over. Our nation has had 32 straight months of job growth. Overall, 562K jobs have been added during President Obama's first term. But hey, don't let the facts get in the way of your partisan blindness.

The job numbers reports are scewed. Employers are starting to prepare for Obamacare's 30 hr work week. Cut hours and hire more part-time employees. Easy fix. His plan to give employers a credit for hiring vets also backfired. They are hovering around 30% unemployment. This in not totally his doing, Bush tainted the Reserves by over using them so now employers are scared to hire them. Add to that any that are disabled either physically, mentally, or both, and they are at a serious disadvantage. Again, that's not totally his fault but he has done next to nothing to assist them. Jobs are a serious problem in this country, along with getting our Soldiers out of that hell hole. Healthcare is a tertiary issue yet he focused all his energy on that one problem and still failed. There is much to do in this country. Put these people to work, teach them a trade or skill that is sustainable. Stop giving these for profit schools cash for enrolling ham sanwiches and handing out degrees for interpretive dance.
